The Inza region is located in a corner of the Cauca department, bordering Tolima and Huila, and overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The region is an important source of water and wildlife, in addition to being a significant coffee-growing area.
The Association of Coffee Growers (ASORCAFE) was formed in 2004 by ten farmers who were desperate due to the low prices they received for their coffee, which was less than the international coffee price.
